Research activities
My research is oriented towards development of methods and algorithms for computational design of new functional materials. The novel optimization methods are taken forth to work with non-linear/linear structures and materials on both macroscopic and microscopic scale. The current objectives of the project are to:
- Optimize structures with non-linear responses with respect to eigenfrequencies.
- Design microstructures that take into account macroscopic eigenmodes, i.e. eigenfrequency optimization of periodic materials.
